Privacy

Short version: we do not ask for your details. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to count visits and see which pages are read.

What we collect

This site has no accounts, forms, comments or newsletters, so we never ask for your name or email address.

Visit statistics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It records things such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location (country or region), and your device and browser. It sets cookies in your browser to tell visits apart. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not use it for advertising.

Google processes this data for us. Its explanation of how it uses data from sites that use its services and its privacy policy give the details. You can stop Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Server logs

Our pages are delivered through Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes technical details of each request, such as your IP address, the page asked for, your browser type and the time, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Email

If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Booking links

Booking buttons take you to third-party sites such as Booking.com, sometimes through an affiliate partner. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies once you arrive.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected].
